The event will be chaired by Dr. Chege Githiora, a Senior Lecturer at the university, and author of several books including Diccionario Swahili-Espanol, Afro-Mexicans: Discourse of Race and Identity in the African Diaspora and Unmarked Grave.

There will be music from renowned British saxophonist Jonathan Radford, and the South African pianist, Ben Schoeman.
