Caine Prize 2018 Readings and Public Events

An evening of readings and conversation with the shortlisted authors, chaired by Dr Louisa Egbunike. The session will be followed by an informal reception, and the 2018 Caine Prize anthology will be available to purchase on the evening.

A relaxed evening with the shortlisted writers of the 2018 Caine Prize, who will read extracts from their short stories. The evening will be chaired by Margie Orford. Each author will read a short extract from their work, after which there will be an opportunity to meet them over a glass of complimentary wine.

THURSday 28 JUNE, WILLESDEN Library, 18.30

An evening of readings and conversation with the 2018 shortlisted authors, hosted by DigitalBack Books – in partnership with Willesden Library. This informal discussion will be facilitated by Zahrah Nesbitt-Ahmed in the Willesden Library reading room. The authors will get an opportunity to read from their work, talk about themselves, what inspires them, and the value of digital channels for African literature.
